This is an incredible festival and has become a visitor attraction in Papua. Baliem Valley Festival was originally a tribal war events Dani, Lani and Yali tribe as a symbol of fertility and prosperity. A festival that is the scene of a power struggle between the tribes and has lasted generations, certainly safe for you to enjoy.

Baliem Valley Festival lasts for three days and is held every August coincided with the celebration of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Initially was first held in 1989.
