For our helicopter supported expedition, the trip to the mountain is quick and efficient. From Timika, the helicopter ride to Yellow Valley Basecamp takes about 40 minutes. This fast way to get there helps climbers save energy, skip long hikes through tough areas, and start preparing for the climb right away once they arrive at basecamp.If you want a complete adventure with a cultural experience, trekking through the Singa or Sugapa route takes roughly two weeks. 09.00–10.00 : Transfer to hotel & check-in – Partner hotels: Swiss-Belinn / Horison Timika / Rimba Papua Hotel.
11.00–15.00 : Document verification & lunch – Passport & visa check, Lorentz NP permit, security clearance, and Brimob authorization.
19.00–21.00 : Dinner & Introduction Session – Welcome remarks from the Chief Guide and introduction of the expedition crew.
